Job Summary

Our client is a leading global provider of relocation and assignment management programs to the worldwide corporate community.
They have an exciting position available for a Relocation Services Manager to join their growing team in Hong Kong.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides, maintains, promotes excellent Customer Service, in accordance with the company’s promises
  • Ensures that all written and verbal communication is in a manner suitable to the quality image of the company
  • Manages the work and the ongoing relationship for provider, agent, supplier relations
  • Responsible for management and co-ordination of all assigned customers and their relocation services for our customers with a view to communicating knowledgeable and clear, concise information to all concerned
  • Efficient purchasing of services with a view to buying smarter for customers
  • Has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the relocation services process and managing service providers
  • Works closely with relocation service providers to ensure our customer gets value for money
  • Has the ability to develop prices and rates as needed
  • File/Order management, including documentation relative to relocation activity and the gathering and maintenance of accurate and complete client and company data
  • Monitors relocations in process and solves routine day to day problems
  • Reports serious problems/difficulties to Management for help and solution, quickly
  • Primary responsibility of managing and coordinating individual customer relocations as promised
  • Works in partnership with the Business Process team
  • Understands different relocation services, able to evaluate and determine the 'best' services for the customer and the situations.
  • Prepares and distributes, in a timely fashion, all pertinent documentation to everyone concerned
  • Maintains files/orders in an organized, controlled fashion, tracking each relocation through the system and communication planners
  • Maintains a pro-active stance on every relocation
  • Maximizes profit opportunity on each relocation within scope of service provided
  • Maintains statistical data and submits weekly reports to management
  • Liaises with Management in agency and provider selection, ensuring that they provide a consistent high standard of operation
     
    Skills and Experience required:
  • Excellent computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience within Global Mobility, Assignment Management or Relocation is essential
  • Must have previous experience managing international assignments
  • SAP Knowledge desirable
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communicator; mature and articulate; pleasant and outgoing personality
  • Fluent English written and spoken
